Birthday Bash

Yesterday Jack and Ewan had their pirate birthday bash.  It was a relatively small party, but we had tons of fun with our friends and family.  The kiddos ran around and had fun inside, we all ate lunch.  Then the fun really began.  The kids hunted for money outside and filled their treasure chests.  They played in the tree house, swings, trucks, bikes, zip line ...all outdoor fun. 

And then of course it was time for some cake.  They blew out their candles and dug in!!  Well actually they had cookies first since they couldn't wait long enough for me to cut the cake and serve!  It was an orange pound cake with orange ginger filling.  Something different this time since we've done nearly everything already, well not exactly, but close!
