Catching Up

Life's been hectic lately, so here is the short story of updates.  Last Wednesday Sean FINALLY started taking his first unassisted steps!!  Then Thursday afternoon the boys and I headed up to Columbus, OH with Oma and Opa.  It was an adventure, but the drive wasn't as bad as we expected so that is always good news!  We had fun at Uncle Tom's surprise 70th party.  Jack and Ewan had a blast playing with their second cousins.  While we were gone Josh put in the new tile hearth.  It looks great!  My southern boys were ready to come home....Sean shivered in the cool weather and Jack and Ewan complained about it being cold!!
 
Since we got back home Sunday night we've been busy.  Mostly because one or all of the boys have been up at night.  For some reason they have developed new sleep patterns, or should I say lack of sleep.  I'm so OVER this!!

We have been enjoying the cooler weather.  It is so nice to be able to play outside again!!  We take a walk before or after lunch and then again after dinner.  It helps the boys nap better, so yeah for that!

Today we enjoyed a trip to the zoo.  The weather was just beautiful and it was quite fun.  There were several school groups there which made it crowded, but we managed to have fun anyway.  We took our lunch, played at the playground there....lots of outdoor fun!!!!

Today after we returned from the zoo Sean has been working on his walking.  He can now go nearly all the way across the room.  He likes to stand up and have everyone cheer and clap for him...he claps too.  It is so cute and funny!!!
